Students must show respect for themselves and others at all times. Any derogatory language or disrespect to peers, instructors, or school staff is unacceptable.
A brief private meeting outside the classroom to address the issue.
Collaborative student/teacher plan of action to resolve the conflict.
Phone call home and assigned lunchtime detention.
Official referral to Dean or Counselor based on the circumstance.
Required Parent-Teacher-Dean conference to address persistent issues.
*Documentation is maintained for all disciplinary conversations.
1st & 2nd: Teacher Warning
3rd & 4th: Call home & Teacher Consequence
5th & 6th: 2 days Lunch Detention (Referral)
7th: 1 day After School Detention
8th+: Parent/Teacher/Dean Conference
